Hello! My name is CJ, and I’m a Knoxville native. I’ve been working as a freelance designer and marketing professional since 2022 and recently graduated with my BFA in Visual Media Production & Design. I’ve worked with organizations such as: Knoxville Family Justice Center; Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries; Covenant Health and Homecare; The Daily Times; and the Knoxville Museum of Art.
My work as a designer — whether in absurdist short films, innovative product launches, or eye-catching book covers — revolves around the joy of problem-solving. Creative work allows me to tell stories, solve problems, and help my community. My work draws from creatives like Mike Flanagan, the McElroy Brothers, Brian David Gilbert, and Jon Bois. I hope to bring a mix of innovative thinking, communal idea-making, and practiced skill to each project I take on.
