Website Changes: 

  • Mission statement put on page
  • Scrolling photos added on home page, with clickable arrows now
  • Homepage updated to say ‘Community Interactions’, as well as linking to the websites of our volunteer partners now
  • Set up a 404 error page
  • VWP info put on page
  • VWP application form set up. This form can only be accessed at the bottom of the VWP info page. If you want me to change that and make the menu include it as well, let me know. Quick fix.
  • Wrote a caption for the donate page and added 3 buttons linking it to Paypal, Venmo, and FB Donate.
  • Made the About Us page look better. 
  • Deleted the Events page – now it’s just a heading on the menu. There was nothing on the Events page to begin with. If you were really attached to it, I can bring it back easy, but again – nothing on it.
  • Similarly, I deleted the empty page that said Get Involved and just put the Event Request form under ‘Events’. The ‘Get Involved’ button on the home page now links to that form. I can make it link to something else, idk. 
  • Related to this – there’s a page set up for a Google Calendar, but it is not linked to one at all. Either you can make one, or I can get rid of it. I put a ‘Check Back Later’ message on it as-is.
  • Added a Facebook button to the homepage (previously it linked to our programs, making it one of three whole buttons on the homepage that just linked to our programs.)
  • On the Contact Us page, if you click our email, it will now auto-open an email for you to send. I was proud of that one.
  • Also, check the Contact Us page and make sure that is, in fact, the email you want them to be contacting.
  • Fixed the Contact Us form so that it a) looks better and b) actually works.
  • Event Request form – I wrote some text that I’m pretty sure is what you’re asking for, but you may wanna look at it to make sure. Also, like I said, if you need me to make the form just go to the volunteer email, I can do that but it’ll take some doing.
  • MM info put on page. I tweaked it for readability.
  • Each of the forms has a submission message that’s something to the effect of ‘Thanks, we got your form, we’ll be in touch, if you haven’t heard back in 2 weeks feel free to reach out again’. Hopefully that works for you.
